The Rex has undergone extensive restoration and renovation in recent years. The Friends of the Rex, Inc. hope to ensure movies on a consistant basis every week of the year. "The Friends" will oversee operation of the facility.

Your generous support will enable this wonderful community asset to be enjoyed by every member of our

community. The Rex is Clay Center's only theater, and so plays a vital role in providing the community with a space to come together, as in the past, for entertainment and cultural events.

Mission of the Friends of the Rex
•To develop the Rex Theater as a regional entertainment center serving a variety of needs for amusement, tourism, arts, business, and education.
•To bring people and revenue into the downtown community.
•To enrich the quality of life for families and children in our area.
•To contribute to the revitalization of Clay Center’s Downtown District.
•To preserve one of Clay Center’s historically significant landmarks for the enrichment of our children, as well as future generations.
